Please tell your celebrity friends about this. They actually don't have to be veggie.
A pilot of my vegan cooking show is finally getting made and it's going to be pitched to Comedy Central. The theme of the pilot episode is "Spring Break at the Vatican"
The show is already a success. It was performed weekly in a theater in San Francisco for 12 months. It got great reviews like San Francisco Chronicle's "Emeril Meets Johnny Knoxville!" or Oakland Tribune's "Comedic Success and Culinary Disaster!"
I'm looking for a vegan / vegetarian celebrity. I've seen the lists, but I don't know the best way to get in touch with one. I thought of just contacting an agent, but that might be really costly. I'm funding the shooting of the pilot and I thought someone might be interested in promoting a show that makes veganism more popular. I respect your time, and would be willing to pay some money, but I'm trying to put as much into production as possible.

It's a mainstream show that teaches vegan recipes without bringing up the fact that they're vegan, so people learn about food that's better than fake burgers and they learn how to use more life-conscious foods without being conscious of it.
It's a comedy show, but the guest is not a person that i just want to make fun of the whole time. No matter who it is, I will seek out the interesting and human side of them and we kinda pal around on stage while we're making good food and talking about spring break mistakes and crap.
Everyone who's seen it says that it would be perfect for TV, and I think having a famous person in the pilot is gonna be a major boon.
Thank you,
Scot Nery
